We are delighted to welcome you to Christ Church Pomfret, an Episcopal Church for Northeast Connecticut. A vibrant church community in northeast Connecticut since its founding in May 1828, Christ Church is a place where faith and real life intersect. From here, we are called to share God’s love in the Church and in the world through generous hospitality, serving one another, community involvement, and providing a safe place to explore a relationship with God. Whether you are a Quiet Corner native or have recently moved here, a committed Christian or someone inquiring about the faith for the first time, we want you to feel at home. Sassy Soup Returns
Soup making has begun! Join us for the four Thursdays of October (9, 16, 23, & 30). The soup is packaged in individual portions and distributed to senior citizens by TEEG. We generally start work around 4 p.m. and work into the evening, allowing folks who work during the day to join in this ministry. Movie Night
Boo! Join us Oct. 26 from 5-7 p.m. for the first movie night of the year. There will be pizza and play before we settle in to watch the Peanuts classic: "It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Bring a friend! All ages are welcome, and Halloween costumes are encouraged.
